2026 Home Run Derby - Baseball

GHLL is hosting a Home Run Derby on Sunday May 17th, from 1:00 - 5:00pm at the GHLL Fields.

This event is open to all currently enrolled GHLL Tee Ball, Baseball and Softball players ages 4-16 (unfortunately due to the Home Run Derby rules, kids who are not enrolled with GHLL for the 2026 season are not eligible to participate).
All ages are welcome to participate in the Home Run Derby
There is no fee to participate in the Home Run Derby, simply sign up below via your GHLL account on our website.
There will be both a Baseball Home Run Derby which is open to both male and female League Age 4-16 year olds, and a Softball Home Run Derby, which is open to female League Age 4-16 softball players.

There is a change to the Derby this year, T-Mobile is no longer sponsoring or offering a Home Run Derby for Little League players, so there will not be any further level of competition for participants to advance to like there has been in past years

If your player doesn’t want to participate in the Home Run Derby, you can still come out to the fields and cheer on your fellow Gig Harbor Little Leaguers as they crank out some dingers. We hope that you and your family want to join in the fun of watching kids do what they all dream of - hitting home runs!

There will be a need for volunteers from the league and community to help run the event beyond the GHLL board volunteers. You can signup to volunteer during registration for the Home Run Derby.
