CO-ED QUICKBALL (League Ages 4-6) NEW FOR 2024!
The Gig Harbor Little League Co-ed Quickball Program is a program for boys and girls League Ages 4–6 just starting out in Little League. The program is in the name “Quickball”: a much faster, fun, age-appropriate game using special equipment. Teams are 8-10 players each. Teams are paired together for practices and play 1 night a week. Every practice includes drills and a game.
Gig Harbor Little League is excited to offer Quickball alongside the traditional Tee Ball. In Quickball, kids get a faster game, where they are constantly moving, and age-appropriate drills that build confidence and teach them the game at their level.
General Information:
No additional equipment is required for purchase. Quickball doesn't require you to buy a bat, helmet or glove, GHLL will provide all of the equipment needed to play. In addition, each family will receive a Quickball ball & bat set to take home!
CO-ED TEE BALL (League Ages 4-6)
The GHLL Tee Ball Division offers a fun, instructional league for players who are either new to the sport or still refining the basic skills. Tee Ball is a non-competitive program focused on fun, fitness, and fundamentals where players ages 4–6 are first introduced to the basics of baseball and softball. GHLL strives to provide a Tee Ball experience focused on teaching the fundamentals of the game in a fun environment while incorporating a high level of physical activity.
General Information:
Tee Ball teams have one team practice per week on a weekday evening, and one game per week on Saturdays.
Team t-shirt and a hat is provided. Parents provide bat, glove, baseball pants, and cleats or athletic shoes.
