GHLL is hosting a T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby & Carnival on Sunday May 21st, starting at 1:00pm at the GHLL Fields.   

• This event is open to all currently enrolled GHLL Tee Ball, Baseball and Softball players (unfortunately due to the Home Run Derby rules, kids who are not enrolled with GHLL for the 2023 season are not eligible to participate).
• All ages are welcome to participate in the Home Run Derby, but only League Age 9-12 year olds are eligible to compete in the contest to move on to Regionals. 
• There is no fee to participate in the Home Run Derby, simply sign up below via your GHLL account on our website. 
• There will be both a Baseball Home Run Derby which is open to both male and female League Age 9-12 year olds, and a Softball Home Run Derby, which is open to female League Age 9-12 softball players. 

We’ll also have baseball and softball themed carnival games for all ages, inflatable obstacle courses and interactives, prizes, food and more. Admission to the games is $15 and that allows unlimited access to the games and obstacle courses, plus one raffle ticket for awesome prizes. (Additional raffles tickets will be available for purchase)

If your player doesn’t want to participate in the Home Run Derby, you can still come out to the fields and cheer on your fellow Gig Harbor Little Leaguers as they crank out some dingers or try your hand at the carnival games. We hope that you and your family want to join in the fun of watching kids do what they all dream of - hitting home runs!

There will be a need for volunteers from the league and community to help run the event beyond the GHLL board volunteers.  You can signup to volunteer during registration for the Home Run Derby
