 Established in 1996, Gig Harbor Little League is a non-profit organization serving hundreds of families each year. Gig Harbor Little League believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. Our league offers a fun, supportive, instructional and competitive experience for boys and girls ages 4 through 16 residing in Gig Harbor.  

Gig Harbor Little League is chartered by Little League International and is a member of Washington's District 2. It is managed by an annually-elected, all-volunteer Board of Directors that operates in accordance with the rules, regulations, and policies of Little League International.

Our league is funded by registration fees, fundraising, and sponsor donations and is operated solely through volunteer efforts of its General Membership and our community.

    Key Dates

    2024 Season Key Dates

    • December 2023 - Registration Opens
    • January 31, 2023 - Online Registration Closes on January 31st OR when a division or program has filled up, whichever comes first. 
    • February 10th  - Player Evaluations for Coach/Player Pitch(AA), Player Pitch(AAA) and Majors Baseball & Player Pitch (AAA) & Majors Softball 

    *NO EVALUATIONS WILL BE HELD FOR TEEBALL, COACH PITCH (A) BASEBALL OR SOFTBALL 

    *Upper Division Baseball and Upper Division Softball - Evaluations date and time TBD

    • February 13th - Make-up Player Evaluations 
    • March 2nd - Teams Announced
    • March 4th - Tee Ball, Baseball and Softball Practices Begin
    • March 16th - Quickball Games Begin
    • March 23rd - Tee Ball Games Begin
    • March 30th  - Opening Day - Baseball & Softball Games Begin!
    •  May 15th & 16th - All Star Tryouts
    • May 18th - Tee Ball & Coach Pitch Baseball & Softball Jamboree 
    • May 19th - Home Run Derby
    • June 8th - End of Season Baseball & Softball City Championship Game
    • June 23rd - GHLL Day at the Rainiers Game
